TARGETED SURFACE CLEANING
Oil stains need more than a quick rinse
Concrete is porous, so oil can soak below the surface instead of staying where a hose can reach it. The longer a stain sits, the more difficult it can be to reduce its appearance.
Our process can include a degreaser selected for the concrete and stain, surface cleaning and additional treatment when needed. We select hot or cold water based on the job.

A PRACTICAL CLEANING PLAN
A practical plan for oil-stained concrete
01
Assess the stain
We consider the surface, affected area and what you know about the spill or leak. Tell us how long it has been there, whether the concrete is sealed and what cleaners have already been used.
02
Treat and clean
We treat the stain and clean the affected concrete using a method matched to its condition. A broader surface clean may be recommended when surrounding dirt would otherwise leave a visibly uneven result.
03
Review the result
Oil-stain results are easier to judge after the concrete dries. Some stains may need further treatment or retain a visible shadow; an ongoing vehicle or equipment leak also needs attention to prevent new spots.
RESIDENTIAL & COMMERCIAL
Oil stain cleaning for homes & commercial properties
The right approach depends on the material beneath the stain. These services focus on suitable concrete; tell us about asphalt, pavers, coatings or specialty finishes before booking.
Concrete driveways
Address vehicle oil drips in parking positions and near garage entrances. We can assess the stained spots alongside the rest of the driveway when you want a more consistent overall clean.
Garage slabs & carports
Assess oil marks where vehicles sit regularly. Let us know about floor coatings, stored items and access so we can determine whether cleaning is suitable and how to prepare the space.
Commercial parking spaces
Treat oil-stained concrete parking areas at business properties and shared sites. Property managers can identify the affected bays and discuss access or scheduling needs before work starts.
Loading & equipment areas
Request an assessment for stained concrete around loading areas or parked equipment. Share what caused the stain, if known, so we can evaluate the request and explain the likely limitations.

KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT
Can every oil stain be completely removed?
No. Stain age, how deeply oil has penetrated, concrete porosity, surface condition and previous treatments all affect the outcome; some discoloration may remain after cleaning.
Our goal is to improve the appearance with an appropriate process and explain the limits before work begins. For old or deeply absorbed stains, more than one treatment may be needed, and complete removal cannot be promised.

Oil stain removal pricing depends on the size and number of spots, the surface, stain condition, access and treatment needed. Cleaning only a few affected areas and cleaning a full driveway are different scopes of work.
Send a close-up and a wider photo, along with the approximate stain size, property address and how long the stain has been there. Mention an active leak or any previous cleaning attempts so we can give you a more useful assessment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Oil stain removal questions
Can old oil stains be removed permanently?
Old oil stains may improve with suitable treatment, but complete removal cannot be promised. Oil absorbed into porous concrete can leave a visible mark, and an ongoing leak can create fresh stains after cleaning.
Will pressure washing alone remove an oil stain?
Pressure washing alone may leave oil that has soaked below the surface. Appropriate degreasing or other treatment can be needed as part of the cleaning process, and some stains may still remain visible.
Do you clean oil stains on asphalt, pavers or coated floors?
Those surfaces need a separate assessment and should not be treated as bare concrete. Send photos and tell us the material or coating so we can determine whether the requested cleaning is suitable.
Why can the stain still show after the concrete dries?
Oil can remain within the pores of the concrete, and wet pavement can make the result harder to judge. A dry surface gives a clearer view of any remaining stain and whether additional treatment may help.
Should I fix the oil leak before having the area cleaned?
Yes, address the source of the leak when possible. Otherwise, a vehicle or piece of equipment can leave fresh oil on the cleaned area, creating new stains after the service.
How much does it cost to remove oil stains from a driveway?
Cost depends on the stained area, surface condition, access and treatment needed. Send photos for a free estimate, and let us know whether you want the oil spots treated or the full driveway cleaned.
